More Made in Italy goodness from Diadora has rocked up to our door. Continuing their fine form this season, the Italian sportswear stalwart present a luxe execution on it’s flagship 90s runner – the N9000. Enlisting the help of Leo Colacicco, a long standing collaborative partner of the brand who’s no stranger to an N9000 having reworked the style under the LC23 guise and his own name.

The ‘Leone’ N9000, we can’t say for certain what inspired this latest colourway but I’d be willing to wager the dusty sun-drenched desert compositions of Sergio Leone’s spaghetti Western epics might have had some impact. This latest N9000 features an upper composed of suede overlays finished in desert tans and rugged browns contrasted by a desert rose pink suede overlay and a cactus green midsole to dial in some suitably frontier flavours. All this sits atop the signature ‘neutral’ N9000 tooling with the shoe signed off by Diadora’s usual sharp embroidered branding.
